We have had a very eventful past few days around here. My brother-n-law and his girlfriend (whom he better put a ring on it – – j/k Ryan) came to visit for 3 days. The time was filled with food, games, good conversation and lots of laughs. We stayed up past our bedtime for 3 nights straight…..Say What?!?! Shocker, I know. I’m pretty sure I might still be recovering from that part of it but nothing pots of coffee can’t cure. I only have one picture (I know…another shocker) because I decided to spend time in front of the camera as opposed to behind it. We already can’t wait to see them again and I’m already missing being the only girl in the house again. I could not have picked a better woman for my BNL and I know with my whole heart that Sally is exceptionally pleased. Anyways, my brother n law also has a very talented way of making me yearn for a vacation. Perhaps, me and Jared will finally get around to planning and saving up for one. Life is pretty short after all.
Sunday we watched the championship games which were very exciting to say the least. It’s a different excitement when you are not emotionally invested into either team. The two teams we predicted will be going to the Super Bowl which is bound to be a really great game. Excited for some diet breaking good food and a great game. Also, am I the only one excited for some halftime Katy Perry?!?!
The boys were out of school yesterday for MLK day and we spent the first half of the day running errands and the rest of it enjoying some unseasonably 66 degree weather. It was absolutely GORGEOUS and made me yearn for spring.
Today was a rather big day..for us anyway. Me and Jared have decided to sell one of our businesses so business #1 sold this afternoon to the right buyer. We simply did not have time for it anymore and are desperately trying to pour all of our energy and resources into the one business. We are very thankful for the income and experience our FridgeCandy business brought to us and while we will never get the millions of hours we spent on it back it did everything it was supposed to do. Also very thankful a buyer came along. The world of business is not always an easy one but sometimes the right things just fall into place at the right time. Now we are excited about having time to explore new designs and models of our jewelry displays and be able to offer our customers a wide variety of options at a low price. Cheers to that!
Have great weeks and stay tuned in the next couple of weeks for super bowl recipes, Jared’s birthday fun, another diet review and some more day in the life. Again, if there is anything you want me to review or check out let me know or follow me on instagram @aleciaharris88. Stalking is encouraged! 😉
