So since this is my favorite time of year I’m always compelled to think of all the things I love right about now. I am a regular internet junkie and probably spend more time perusing around then I should. However, it’s an addiction I doubt I’ll break any time soon so I’m just gonna go with it. 🙂 Here are some things I have found recently that I’m loving. (And no most of them aren’t fall related)
First up…..I love pumpkin. This time of year makes my taste buds sing because everything pumpkin is all over the place. Between lattes, desesrts and some other interesting creations….I’ve been able to get my pumpkin fix 100 times over and it’s not even November! Woot woot.
Anyone who knows me knows that I love clocks and mugs. I don’t know why, and yes I realize they are not related, but I just think they are so cool and fun. Clocks remind me of time passing which brings about a lot of sentimentality and mugs are just awesome and make me think of relaxation and a hot drink. So here is the coolest clock I’ve seen in a while and an equally cute and clever mug.
Another thing I’m loving is all the fall colors. Especially this one for nails. I try to paint my nails at least once a week but with my job and the constant washing and sanitizing they don’t keep as long as they used to. However, nothing quite makes me feel put together like a fresh manicure and this shade is awesome. I’m loving the vampy seduction vibe. Very chic!
The other day I was on some website and I saw this picture. I felt I needed to take a moment to salute the best show ever! Friends!! Does anyone else just have to stop and watch whenever a re-run is on even though you have seen it a million times? I do. Something about these awesome characters just makes me all warm and fuzzy inside. haha! So cheers to you Friends, for making us all still love you, even after all these years. 🙂
This was very random but I love photography and often look on photographers websites to get ideas for my own pictures. I am obsessed with taking pics of my kiddos so always am trying to recreate cool looks I’ve seen online without paying the hefty photographers fee. I came across this picture and just had to share. First, it’s quite possibly the cutest picture ever in so many ways but secondly it made me think of my sister and her future kids. This is sooooo her future little boy and I will take a pic of my nephew like this. Makes me super excited for that time when I finally get to be an aunt, even if he is gonna be a dirty little cowboy!!! Hurry up sister! 🙂
I’m a crafty person and am always looking for new ideas with the kids. I came across this on a halloween website and thought it would be fun and easy to do with the boys. I have a million q-tips laying around that I never use and now have found an excuse to use them up. Plus the boys are obsessed with all things ghosts and goblins so should get a kick out of this.
Finally, my last random thing is this beautiful picture of Kate Winslet. Ever since I had the privelage of falling in love with Titanic I have been a Kate fan. She is amazing and one of the most “real” actresses out there. I appreciate her stance on natural beauty, plastic surgery and how she has fought back against airbrushing pictures and magazine covers. She is a celebration of real beauty and what it is like to be a real woman, flaws and all. I salute you Kate and hope to someday age as gracefully and humble as you!
Hope you enjoyed the list and are finding all the things you’re loving right now!
