Saturday morning we twisted, drilled, packaged and shipped all of our orders while balancing a baby and attempting to keep him from taking a bath in sawdust and eating wood chips. (No we didn’t succeed 100%)
Saturday afternoon we had a waffle and milk picnic on the driveway…..cause that’s what all the cool people do at 2:00 in the afternoon.
Gavin and Daddy had a real in depth conversation about toes, basketballs and how the two relate….I’m still trying to figure out the relation.
I retrieved the older two from the grandparents house and I’m not sure they were at all excited to see me. Why is it we always miss our children WAY more than they miss us?
Saturday night me and the bestie had what I’m calling “The Farewell Tour” since she will be moving next Friday all the way across the country. I’m trying not to think about it….and no I really don’t want to talk about it….at least not right now. I got a nice fortune but so far no surprises have come jumping out in front of me. Although, in my experience not all surprises are great.
Sunday was more twisting, drilling, packaging and shipping…..do you see a trend here? Plus, I discovered that Gavin’s version of “helpful” and my version are two completely different things….at least he is cute!
I was able to get some organization done…..got my pantry back to order and got all of our files organized. I’m pretty sure I had a weeks worth of trash just after those two projects. Ugh….I want to save planet earth but my trash just keeps telling me I’m failing!! 🙁
By Sunday afternoon Mason had transformed into quite the “nerd” and kept walking around, pulling his shirt open, saying “I am Superman!! Dund da da!!” Yes, he is my child.
Sunday evening we enjoyed a picnic in the park with my cousin’s family. The kids were able to run around and let off all sorts of energy while the adults got to chat and keep an eye on the little babes. Gavin got to experience swinging for the first time and well….I think this picture says it all.
Ready to tackle this week….even though it’s going to be a hard one. Lots of things happening in the Harris household! Bring it on!
