Well we have officially survived our first week of school. It has definitely been busy but we are all still breathing so that means success.
Both Logan and Mason are doing well and loving their teachers. I have already heard rave reviews from both teachers about how well behaved they are and what good helpers they are. It always make a momma proud to hear such things. Logan is “business as usual” and has gotten right back into the groove. He is enjoying the extra recess this year and the extra lunch choices. Who know the step up to second grade would be so AWESOME!! Mason has done amazingly well. Right now they have a substitute teacher since his normal teacher had a baby last week but it doesn’t seem to faze him. He is learning all the names of the kids in his class and so far has made a few friends. They are both riding the bus and love it… even though it adds an hour to their drive home. Oh well, I’m not going to complain about them liking convenience! haha
It’s been pretty quiet in the house without the kiddos. Gavin sure misses their faces during the day and is getting tired of staring at my mug but he is also getting used to things. Mornings have ran really smoothly and Gavin has done exceptionally good with being really chill while we are getting the older two fed and ready to go. Such a good boy! At night we do dinner and try to spend a couple of hours of family time before all the kiddos head to bed, I head to the gym, and Jared heads for the couch. Haha!
On a side note Mason had a cardiology appointment this morning due to finding a double heart murmur at his physical last month. After an EKG and ultrasound we got good news that he is a super healthy little man without any problems to be found. He was told not to come back until he is 100! Haha. So we are very thankful for good news and again I’m extremely blessed that I have 3 beautiful healthy baby boys. I know that there are so many families who don’t.
Hope everyone is getting onto a good routine and is adjusting back to the school life! Happy School Year!
