Another week is down the tubes and boy has our life become even more crazy. We have our second week of Mighty Mites over with and it’s getting a little bit easier now that we are on somewhat of a good routine. However, the boys are pretty exhausted. They get off of the bus at 4:40, inhale dinner in 10 minutes and we are in the car packed and on our way to practice by 4:55. We get home around 7:30 and by the time we have showers, jammies and a bedtimes story everyone is ready for some serious shut eye. I took Logan for two nights, by myself, while Jared stayed home with Mason and Gavin. We both thought it would work better but after coming home both nights to a screaming baby I’m not sure that was the perfect solution. Sigh….
Gavin is still getting up 2 times a night and I really miss my baby who slept through the night. I have no idea what is going on but I am overly cranky these days and I’m pretty sure it has to do with the lack of sleep. I had a really big pep talk with him this morning so I’m hoping he will start not gracing me with his presence at 3 in the morning. Of course he is a pretty cute sight at 3 a.m. He also tried his bumbo seat for the first time and loved it. I captured the most adorable photo that is definitely one for my living room wall as well as a cute baby contest! Such a cutie pie!
Mason received 2 “super bucks” in school this week for following directions and always listening. He was the only one in his class both days so of course I am a very proud mommy. I am so thankful he is doing so well in school. Such a big relief!
Cooler temps are among us and I couldn’t be happier. It actually feels like fall is in the air and I’m sure that is just what I need to bring me out of my sleep-deprived cranky state. Time to bust out the hoodies and boots and say a somewhat sad goodbye to summer!!
This weekend will be filled with family night tonight, work and some football. Go Broncos! Have a great weekend everyone!
