How far along: 32 Weeks! 8 more to go and about 56 days – give or take.
Baby’s size:16.69 inches and 3.75 pounds. If he is anything like the other boys he will be about 20 or 21 inches at birth so is almost to his perfect length at this point. He is the size of a Pain d’epi which a bread that looks like a wheat stalk that tears into individual rolls so you can share with your friends. Awwww how sweet.
Sleep: Still pretty good considering the belly really is growing. Yes, it takes longer to roll over and the pelvis is sore but no complaints here. As long as I’m getting sleep – that’s all that matters.
Best moment this week: WE WON THE SUPER BOWL – in case you were living under a rock or something. 🙂 That was super exciting and fun to be able to share that memory with the wee tots. We munched on a few snacks, enjoyed every second of the game and had a really fun and relaxing evening.
Movement: About the same as last week. Movements are very strong, considering he is gaining weight rapidly, and he still is on his pretty strict schedule.
Cravings: Honestly, all I have really wanted for weeks now is soup and sandwiches from Panera or Mcalisters and iced coffee from starbucks. Literally, I could have that every single meal. Nothing else has sounded too appetizing or worth the energy it would take to make it. 🙂
Missing Anything: Being able to have iced coffee 10 times a day. Just kidding – I don’t really do that but some days I would like to go over my caffeine intake.
Queasy or sick: Nope still good. A slight small through and slight congestion from the dry heat but again nothing that’s even a big deal.
Looking forward to: I have my doctors appointment on Friday and then Valentines Day on Sunday. Don’t have any plans for now but we usually spend it with the kids anyways. We shall see what happens.
Baby Item of the Week: I am running errands tomorrow in hopes of gathering lots of baby clothes, decor, and everything else I need to get the nursery done and things ready. With only 50 some odd days to go I’m very much ready to cross it all off my list and know that things are ready for his arrival. Babies are always unpredictable and my motto is always “better to be safe than sorry.” Once the nursery is all done I’ll do a full nursery reveal.
Hope you all have wonderful and fabulous weeks!!
