How far along: 30 Weeks! We hit the dirty 30s and the last little hill to meeting our little guy!
Baby’s size: 15.71 length 2.91 weight. Size of a Brie en Brioche which is an entire wheel of soft cheese wrapped in dough. Say What?!?!?! What is this madness and where can I find one of those?
Sleep: About the same as last week. Insomnia hasn’t been as long as it was last week but still strikes me every night. I’ve now just used it as more time to practice my breathing and labor techniques, meditation and everything else I’m trying to put into practice before the big day. Overall, that has really helped and helps just rest my mind.
Best moment this week: We are going to the Super Bowl!! We have some very excited boys in our house. Then yesterday we celebrated Jared’s birthday and actually got some time just me and him, outside of the house without work. He wasn’t feeling all that well, but it didn’t really matter since it was nice to just be out in the world.
Movement: He is getting a bit more cramped so I can tell his movements have slowed a bit. They are still very scheduled like clockwork and he definitely has his awake and rest times down pat. It’s kind of nice to be so predictable because if I ever haven’t been paying attention to his movements I kind of have a general idea of when he will be awake again to monitor. So far he is not very active at all in the middle of the night so I’m hoping that means he will be a good sleeper out of the gate. Fourth time could be the charm, right?
Cravings: Soups, sandwiches and bistro type food. Not sure if it’s the weather or the fact that I can’t eat very much in one sitting anymore but those things have been sounding good all week.
Missing Anything: Not really anything significant. Overall, things are going really quick and pretty good.
Queasy or sick: Nope. Thankfully, I’ve avoided all the colds and yuck that Jared keeps getting so I’m hoping it stays that way. Not feeling well while pregnant is like a double whammy.
Looking forward to: Breaking news here – – we are going to be taking some time off very soon to do absolutely NOTHING. No agenda, no engagements, no nothing. We will probably stay in bed for an entire week and never come out. So I am very much looking forward to some MUCH NEEDED time off to unplug, unwind and just re-focus. Never ever take vacation time for granted, people.
Baby Item of the Week: I got a baby wrap from wildbird company. You can follow them on instagram @mywildbird. The wraps are so adorable and there are many options to choose from. Plus, it’s a small business run by a mom so I’m ALL about that.
I will be doing a sponsored post from Pink Blush Maternity here in the next two weeks that will also feature a giveaway so stay tuned for that and all the details. I am IN LOVE with their line and they also have a non-maternity line as well. So thankful to be chosen to represent their brand so stay tuned, all you preggo mommas or possible momma to bes.
