Here are some of my favorite picks for 10 month olds. Obviously, every baby reaches milestones at their own pace so these are really suitable for most babies between 9-12 months of age.
Since summer is right around the corner and we have been having lots of sunny days lately, sunscreen and popsicles have been on my mind. I’ve become much more aware of what I have been putting on my skin let alone my kids’ sensitive skin. I love this whole line of products and really like their sunscreen. I use this for both my baby boy and the older two. It’s also really reasonable and competitively priced so I don’t feel like I’ll go bankrupt on sunscreen. I also think this popsicle maker is a must for any teething baby. Just whip up your own batch of whatever and freeze. It’s great for summer, easy to hold and ensure a healthy treat for those sore gums. I also grabbed some Plum Organic teething crackers and Gavin can’t get enough of them. He loves the taste and they are a perfect snack to throw in my purse when we are out and about. I also love that they aren’t crumbly like crackers so I don’t have to worry about leaving a really messy trail in the aisles of Target.
Speaking of teeth, it’s time to start that dental care early. Dentists recommend for cleaning and care to start as soon as teeth pop through. I love this little toothbrush to help wipe those little teeth. It’s easy to hold, engaging for a baby, and it’s just super cute. What’s not to love about a banana shaped toothbrush?!
I picked up the cup the other day thinking it would be perfect for getting Gavin to transition away from the bottle. So far I really like it. He can sip from anywhere around the rim and got the hang of it in under 30 seconds. It’s available in multiple sizes as well so it can grow with him and his hydration needs. The only con is that it does leak and spill if he drops it on the floor….which at this age is every 5 seconds. So I would recommend using a cup holder that suctions to the high chair to prevent it from hitting the floor. Otherwise, I really like it and it has made my life much easier.
Lastly, Gavin loves his walking toy. This one is very similar to the one that we have. It’s great for babies who sit, crawl or stand and transitions through each phase. The lights and sounds keep him engaged and helps him interact. There are a variety of models on the market in many different price ranges so it’s easy to find one perfect for your little one.
Happy hump day, friends! Hope you are all having fabulous weeks!
